Round Table Conference

It is our pleasure to announce that NLIU-CLT is organising the second edition of the annual NLIU-CLT Technology and Law Fair: Techtonic 2023 from 24th February 2023 to 26th February 2023. The event is one of the most sought-after events in the field of technology law. Techtonic provides a platform for students, researchers, and practitioners to come together and discuss the latest developments in technology law and its impact on society. The Fair includes a range of activities such as workshops, panel discussions, and competitions that provide participants with an opportunity to gain insights into the legal and policy issues surrounding technology.

One of the major highlights of the event is the Round Table Conference which includes a panel discussion with renowned industry experts. This conference provides a platform for experts to share their insights and perspectives on the latest developments in technology law and its impact on society. The Round Table is your ticket to witness the créme de la créme of the industry answering all your tech law related questions, giving their insights on issues of importance and doling out pearls of wisdom on how to work in an ever changing field.

The NLIU Cell for Law and Technology is excited to organise the second iteration of the Round Table Conference this year, which will include participation from professionals across the nation. Industry experts from across the country shall present their viewpoints and all the participants of Techtonic and the students of NLIU, Bhopal shall witness it. A healthy discussion shall be promoted. The Cell hosted the first edition of the Round Table Conference in the year of 2021 on the theme of “Emerging Avenues in Technology Law” and “Career Opportunities in Technology Law”. In a manner similar to the previous edition, the Cell has decided to conduct two Round Table Conferences with two different themes this year. The themes may revolve around pressing regulatory concerns of cyberspace and advanced technologies.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has kindly consented to offer us Logo Support for the Conference.

The Event shall be held entirely in a physical set-up within the campus of National Law Institute University. Necessary details of the Round Table Conferences are as follows:

Round Table Conference I:

Theme – Cyber Insurance
Date – 24^th February 2023 (Friday)
Time – 17:30 hours

Round Table Conference II:

Theme – Metaverse
Date – 25^th February 2023 (Saturday)
Time – 16:00 hours

Interested persons may register for the Round Table Conference/s by filling the registration form below by 11:59 PM on 22 February 2023. All registered participants would be required to arrive at the venue at least 1 hour prior to the Event to facilitate the registration checking process. All participants who attend the event physically shall be awarded with a Certificate of Participation. The participation for the event shall be offline for all students.
